Supervisor
Greggs
2021 - 2024 • Cambridge,GB
As a supervisor I would run weekend shifts in my Cambridge shop. This involved leading a team of 12+ people, guiding them with shop operations, and tackling staffing and service issues if they arose. My role meant I was responsible for the cashing up of tills, organising weekly staff rotas, serving over tills, hot and cold food and sandwich production and dealing with shoplifters. This has allowed me to develop strong leadership skills, meaning I am able to handle tough situations involving staff and members of the public, thinking on my feet. I was also responsible for the safe running and safe operations of the shop, dealing with both fire alarms and evacuations and shoplifting during my time there.
Sales assistant
Dorringtons’s bakery
2019 - 2021 • Saffron Walden,GB
Within this role I would work on tills serving the public in a busy environment. This would involve handling cash and fresh foods. I would also use barista coffee machines and provide as a stand in for sandwich production during peak/ busy times. In quieter times and on closes I would restock shelves, assist with cooking fresh food and breads and help with cleaning.

As a Girlguiding young leader each week I would attend planning meetings to discuss and create activities for groups of 7-11 year olds. I would be responsible for overseeing and assiting with these activities during weekly meets. On camping and day trips I would be the responsible adult for groups of 6+ girls, ensuring their safety and welfare in campsites theme parks and other various activity centres. This means I have basic training in first aid and experience with caring for groups of people.
