Landscaping and property maintenance work for a large commercial property in Wattle Grove. Everything from gardens and lawns to pools, plumbing, deck building, tree lopping, handywork, and everything in between. This job would take priority over other work.

Full time role (avg 40-50 hours per week). Took this job to make money and get experience in the meantime, reluctantly had to resign because of fulltime scheduling/hours conflicting with flight college. Operated machinery, loaded cargo and bags on passenger airliners. Attained authority to drive airside license, drove and operated moveable machinery around Qantas jets. Key responsibilities were ensuring crew safety, meeting airline specific strict deadlines, and dealing with high pressure and airline customers. Very fast paced role in the heat, cold, and unique environments, this job presented a lot of challenges that had to be adapted to quickly and effectively. Long hours of shift work starting/finishing early morning and late nights taught me strict discipline and have contributed to my hard work ethic.

Dedicated referee earning best first year referee award. Refereed finals and first team NPL games, taking on the pressure of big games with senior players and coaches older than myself. Strong communication skills gained from positive relationships with coaches, referees, and players. Learnt to adapt to dissent, pressure, and scrutiny, and make high pressure decisions instantly and correctly, teaching myself perseverance and resilience.

Worked as a painters assistant over the 2023 and in the 2024 summers working on houses under construction. Responsibilities included moving, sanding, painting, cleaning and building/assembly.

Currently completing commercial pilots license. Obtained Private Pilot License, Multi engine class rating, MPPC endorsement, and RU endorsement. I fly 2-3 days a week during the day, evenings and nights are free for work, as are weekends, similar to a university schedule.

Graduated in 2024. 4x recipient of Aleric Pinder Boor certificate of excellence. Achieved a GPA of 4.00. Appointed a peer minister, taking younger students on retreat and being a personal mentor. Completed volunteering hours, notably at a local primary school. Senior member of the 1st 11 soccer team. Received the Aviation ATAR award for the highest individual score.
