My responsibility as a captain is too attend fortnightly meetings with my team to collaboratively discuss ways we can contribute to the thriving of the school and finding ways to put our plans into action. As a Faith/Service Captain my specific duties includes planning and leading large fundraising events. Over the past year I have successfully managed numerous stalls and sales, raising hundreds of dollars for charity. These opportunities have taught me how to be well-organised, communicate my ideas clearly with others and practically, to manage large crowds, interact with customers and handle eftpos machines and cash.

At fortnightly youth meetings I assist in various roles, which include Serving food, registration, leading the night (MC), organising resources and pack-up/pack-down. This has allowed me to develop interpersonal, leadership and food preparation skills, as well as firsthand experience with young people. I have assisted with occasional fundraising event helping to sell, relate with customers and handle cash and eftpos machines.

My role as an umpire is to manage the game and ensure player safety. I am required to communicate clearly with players and use appropriate gestures to maintain professionality. Through this experience I have developed my problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Volunteer as a Tour Guide at my school for the past four years, I have led groups of 15-20 people around the school providing an immersive and detailed experience of life at the college.

My role was to dress-up and engage the children with the seasonal activity. I have worked as an Easter Bunny and Christmas Elf, inside a shopping centre. During this I learnt how to communicate with children and parents, building my patience and customer interaction skills.

For the past two I have taken on the ATAR course; while it has been challenging, I strive to acheive my best across all my subjects. Completing the course, I have learnt many practical skills and important values such as accountability for my education, determination to complete tasks and to always have a hard-work ethic. My personal favourite subjects are Chemistry and Human Biology.
