Working with a friendly team to process the weekly incoming goods, stock takes, placing stock away and sending out goods where needed to workers.

At the Cairns Base, I worked with pediatrics, Women’s Health, Med 3, Med 6 and Orthopedics Theatre. Within the month I was there, I assisted the nurses in each department, completing observations of all patients and general hospital duties.

In the work experience I assisted the childcare staff with duties of lunches, educated play times, yard play and sleep times. Start and clean up at the end of the day was also an important part of the day, ensuring all OH&S practices were followed.
